Wife Called Karma

It hurts
It all hurts so bad
Before I couldn’t breathe ‘cause it was cold
N now I can’t breathe ‘cause there’s no air
No air and nobody left
Everyone just upped and walked away
You didn’t give me the time of day
And you actually don’t give a fuck that you hurt me
Let me tell you what you did
You took it from my chest and put it in yours
Then you ripped it out with a chainsaw
Threw it in the air
So it landed on a spoke sticking out the ground
Then you sent your dog over to gnaw at it
Until it’s pieces lay on the ground
Then you got yourself a top-of-the-range blender
Let’s call it your wife’s name, maybe?
Karma is it?
You pressed the ‘on’ button
Let’s call it 'Gurdeep'...
And you chucked it in there along with some onions and spice
And you blended it into a bloody, teary, milky milkshake
You drank it
You shat it out
At least it was kind of in one piece again
You dashed it back in my chest
Sewed me up with golden thread
Then took my hand, became my friend
Walked with me, talked with me, laughed with me
Then laughing you picked a stick up off the ground
Stuck a wedding ring on the end
And stuck it right through the centre of my chest
Breaking it into shitty little pieces all over again
And it’s not just you
It’s the best friends who ain’t there no more
The sister hoe that screwed me over bro
The family that are all out for themselves
And you pretend you care
You pretend you’re there
Toddle off home to your fake little family
And be happy
I don’t need you no more
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
R.I.P. Amarah
You have shown me what life is all about
Now that you no longer have it
You soldier warrior princess
Just like Xena
No more stress now eh
Just rest your pretty little head
Go to bed
Sleep peacefully
And fly with the angels
In my tears and in my prayers
Just walk those Golden stairs
And let God look after you
No-one’s ever gonna hurt you up there
See you soon
